Meet Lori Williams
Lori Williams, CHt, LMT, is the founder and lead instructor at Intuitive Specialists, bringing over 20 years of experience in Controlled Remote Viewing (CRV) and a depth of knowledge in the field. After a lifetime of vivid precognitive experiences, Lori started to develop and control her intuitive abilities.
Her journey led her to study under Lyn Buchanan, a former member of a top-secret military “psychic spying” program and author of The Seventh Sense. With years of mentorship from Buchanan, Lori excelled in Controlled Remote Viewing and eventually became the first certified civilian CRV instructor in 2001.
Since then, Lori has trained thousands of students worldwide, with courses held across Canada, Ireland, Russia, Europe, and all over the United States. As a dedicated member of the International Remote Viewers Association (IRVA) and the Professional Controlled Remote Viewers Association (PCRVA), Lori upholds high standards in both teaching and practice. Her professional track record speaks for itself: with an 87% accuracy rate in the PCRVA database, Lori has completed numerous cases for law enforcement – missing person cases, professional sessions for corporations for profit margins, archaeological discoveries, and extensive “Life Path” sessions for individuals and working on many remote-healing sessions.

Lori Williams Biography
You know how you sometimes just know something, but you don’t know how you know? There is that feeling… that knowing that you should do a certain thing or go a certain direction or take a certain route. And when you follow that gut instinct, it feels so good when you find out you were right!
We are all familiar with those moments — those pangs of regret — when we don’t follow those instincts, and are kicking ourselves afterwards. We have all experienced those moments to some degree.
Lori Williams had a lot of “those moments” as a child, a teen and an adult. After a lifetime of unbidden, vivid precognitive and unexplained paranormal experiences, she began seeking a way to control these spontaneous bursts of intuition. We all tend to fear that which we don’t understand, and fear is never a good platform for launching your life.
In her search, Lori was fortunate to meet a man who had been part of a top-secret military program… a program of psychic spies. That man was Lyn Buchanan, author of The Seventh Sense. Lyn spent the next several years teaching and mentoring Lori with the vision of having someone well-trained to whom he could pass the torch once he retired. Since they met in 1996, Lori has been researching, practicing and studying the science of Controlled Remote Viewing (CRV).
In 1999, Lori met the first remote viewer to be inducted into the military’s then-fledgling “psychic spying unit”: Melvin Riley. Mel and Lori became good friends, and she has been blessed to have his additional mentoring in her life.
Over the years, Ms. Williams has spent countless hours honing her remote viewing skills through practice sessions with provable feedback, complete with written summaries and recorded datasheets.
In those early years (1996 to 2001) she drove 12 hours round trip on many weekends to assist and learn from Mr. Buchanan as he taught various remote viewing workshops.
In 2001, Ms. Williams became the first certified civilian Controlled Remote Viewing instructor, and has been teaching an average of one to five 3-day workshops on a monthly basis ever since. She has taught Remote Viewing in Canada, Ireland, Russia, Europe and all over the United States.
Additionally, Lori has taken multiple post-advanced CRV and related courses.
Her studies led her to also delve deeply into Associative Remote Viewing and Extended Remote Viewing. Lori developed a strong friendship and mentorship with Mel Riley, the first remote viewer in the remote viewing military unit, and the only person who was in the unit twice during his career.
As a professional remote viewer, Ms. Williams has worked with five remote viewing companies and countless corporations in three countries. Lori is a member of the International Remote Viewers Association (IRVA) as well as the Professional Controlled Remote Viewer’s Association (PCRVA) and has a track record of 87% accuracy in the PCRVA professional database.
Her experience includes working with law enforcement to assist in missing person cases, conducting professional sessions for corporations that have had a direct effect on profit margins, working on archeological mysteries, doing extensive “Life Path” sessions for individuals and working on many remote-healing sessions.
An accomplished public speaker, Ms. Williams has travelled throughout the world, conducting workshops and has presented on Controlled Remote Viewing, Hypnosis, and Intuition Development.
Meet Jim Williams
Jim Williams, CHt, LMT, complements Lori’s expertise with a background in forensic science, CRV, and energy work. Growing up on a family apple orchard near the Mescalero Apache Reservation in New Mexico, Jim developed a lifelong appreciation for the natural and metaphysical worlds.
A certified Reiki Master with a Biology degree, Jim began studying Controlled Remote Viewing in 2002 with Lyn Buchanan, advancing to post-advanced levels and establishing himself as a “world-class monitor” in CRV.
Jim’s expertise in CRV monitoring allows him to support students with an exceptional level of detail and precision. His experience as a forensic scientist and project manager provides a unique perspective to his work at Intuitive Specialists, where he oversees projects, mentors students, and ensures the highest standards in session monitoring and management. Together, Lori and Jim form a powerful team to foster growth and confidence in each of their students.

Jim Williams grew up on a picturesque apple orchard in the mountains of Southern New Mexico on the edge of the Mescalero Apache Indian Reservation — the only “towhead” on the playground. He graduated from New Mexico State University with a degree in Biology.
In 1990, Jim began developing a strong interest in the metaphysical, studying energy healing through Reiki, and became a Reiki Master in 1992.
In January of 2002, Jim began studying Controlled Remote Viewing with Lyn Buchanan. He graduated from the Advanced Course in 2008, and has since taken several post-advanced courses.
Since that time, he has participated in many operational sessions, both as a monitor and as a viewer. Jim has become known internationally as a “world-class monitor,” and often teaches monitoring during courses taught in the Remote Viewing Training Center that Jim and Lori opened in Amarillo, Texas in October of 2013. In addition to monitoring students regularly, Jim monitors most of Lori’s sessions, and acts as her Project Manager as well.
Professionally, Jim spent many years as a forensic scientist for the state police — an excellent background for his current position as Project Manager for Intuitive Specialists.
On a personal note, Jim is a very talented renaissance man, handling massive renovations at the Remote Viewing Training Center. He is father of two girls, stepdad to seven, grandfather to many. His hobbies are growing medicinal herbs and healing — and taking catnaps with Bart the Cat.

We recently moved our training center from Amarillo, Texas to the mountains of New Mexico! Our love for the planet led us to a piece of land containing Earthships, self-sustaining housing that is warm in the winter, cool in the summer and completely independent of public systems. We are able to conserve our most precious resource– water– and grow our own food. This is a huge change for us, as our training center was the focus of our efforts since early 2013, and we spent a great deal of our resources on turning that into a masterpiece! Now, for the sake of our children’s children’s children, we want to learn to live with less, and be an example of living gently upon the Earth.
